The challenge
Pluspetrol is an energy company founded in Argentina, with oil and gas operations across Latin America. Part of its day-to-day processes ran as Nintex workflows on an on-premises SharePoint farm, which the company had to host, patch and upgrade on its own.
On-premises SharePoint is reaching the end of the road: Microsoft ended support for SharePoint Server 2016 and 2019 on July 14, 2026. Keeping workflows there means carrying servers, upgrades and security risk for a platform with no future.
The solution
Costa Consulting Group moved Pluspetrol’s Nintex workflows from on-premises SharePoint to Nintex Automation Cloud, Nintex’s cloud platform (formerly Nintex Workflow Cloud). The processes now run in the cloud, managed and updated by Nintex.
The result
- Pluspetrol’s workflows run on Nintex Automation Cloud instead of on-premises servers.
- No more Nintex or SharePoint server upgrades to plan and pay for.
- The processes are on the platform where Nintex releases new capabilities.
